Absolutely OK. I asked the officer and she gave told me that it would be end of month(interview on sep 18). But I got my Oath Letter in November. Not useful info but YES you can ask the IO about when your Oath will happen.

thx for sharing! i actually know when it is.. i looked it up online,but i want to confirm with the officer during my interview (jan 7th) (oath 27th jan) hopping i get the oath letter on the same day! waiting for a letter in the mail is just stressful !
but y did ur oath letter take that long !

Next oath ceremony in San Jose DO could be on Jan 28th 2010.

I am also waiting for my oath letter after my successful interview on 7th Dec'09.

Not sure why it took so long. I had my interview on 09/18 and was hoping an October Oath, but I received the Oath letter for 11/13 on 10/23.
My Friend had her interview on 10/21 and the IO gave her a Oath letter for 11/5 immediately(this was in SFO and my DO is SJC)

yea same thing here ..am hoping they give me the oath letter during the interview..there r 20days between my interview and oath ceremony..

Yes, I have my Oath ceremony on Jan 28 in Campbell. I was interviewed on 6th Jan and got the oath letter on the 14th. My wife who had her interview on the same day hasn't even received her Oath letter yet.
