  • When to apply?

I became a green card holder through work in April 2008. However, I had already married a US citizen in October 2007. When should I apply for citizenship? I understand that permanent residents through work should wait 5 years, but since I'm married to a US citizen, does the 3 year period apply to me?

    I would appreciate your information.
