Name Change

Hi,

I have read that asking for a name change in the application increases the processing time, do you guys know if that is a considerable delay? are we talking one more year or just a couple more months?

name change

Hi I had name change in N-400. My interview was on 25th Jan 2010and I have oath on 12the feb 2010. BTW I applied from hartford, ct. I was thinking the same that the name change will delay the process. May be it depend on where you applying from. but for me it was not a issue.
