Citizenship after divorce

If a Green-card holding couple eligible for citizenship are dissolving their marriage. Can they separately apply for citizenship?
Will it make any difference that the wife entered US with a dependant visa?

I am assuming you got your GC on the basis of your spouse's employment based application. In such case I believe you are OK.
There would have been a issue if your GC was given on the basis of marriage to a US citizen

I think if the marriage was done in good faith then you should have no problems. I hope you have a job and can support yourself in which case you can claim that you can support yourself too.
But you have to prove that the marriage was in good faith.

So how can one prove that the marriage was in good faith, I have all our documents like, apartment lease, bank statements, pics, emails, car insurance. I am sure that can validate that we were living to gather but when it comes to showing it was entered in good faith, what can one show or say???
