I'm planning to apply the Citizenship based on 4 year 1 day rule. It is getting very confusing to me. Its been almost 10 years since I got my PR but I was studying overseas so was not in US all the time.
Last entry in US - 08/01/2015 and continuous stay till now.
Last 5-6 yrs dates
12/25/2011 to 12/25/2013 (outside USA) (Entered US with re-entry permit)
2/16/2014 to 4/15/2015 (outside USA) (Entered US with re-entry permit)
05/15/2015 to 8/1/2015 (outside USA)
So, last date for continues residence will be 4/15/2015 without breaking the flow. So, according to the rule, I should be eligible to apply my Citizenship at 04/16/2019 right? Which is 4 years and 1 day from last date which doesn't break the !! residence.
Last valid entry was in 8/1/2015 but before that it was 4/15/2015 with re-entry permit and counting from then the 4 yr and 1 day will be this 4/16/2019.
Can someone correct me if I'm wrong? Or suggest the correct date to apply.
Thank you.
