    Hey Guys,

I came to USA on 10/21/2014 on LPR based on marriage to LPR . My wife was LPR in 2014. She became US Citizen on 03/22/2016.

My wife has already completed 3 years as USC on 03/22/2019.

Should I eligible to apply for naturalization based on 'Permanent resident for three to five year" ?.

I guess yes but thought I would ask here to make sure I am not wrong.

As in eligibility check list , I am confuse on :

1.I am married to ,and living with a US Citizen,

does this mean it only applicable to person who married to us citizen only before coming to USA or ?

    Thanks

Yes, you can apply under the 3-year rule since you have been a permanent resident for at least 3 years, and you have been married to a US citizen for at least 3 years (i.e. you have been married to the same person for at least 3 years, and your spouse has been a US citizen for at least 3 years). What category you immigrated on is irrelevant.

Or, you can wait until 7/23/2019 when you can apply under the 5-year rule. But if you want to apply now, you would apply under the 3-year rule.

This is my personal opinion and is not to be construed as legal advice.
