Background Check not complete

I had my interview on March 1st. But the officer said that background check was not complete and the interview letter was sent by mistake and they will resend the interview letter when Background check is complete.

I was interviewed today..passed my civic test but there was an error on my DOB which was notified to USCIS and they acknowledged it. Today at interview IO told me I passed the test but they need to do a background check again as they did it with wrong date and that I will be notified in mail. What should I expect ???????????????? i m freaked. What happend with your case ?

I had issue with wrong DOB which was an error in filling form and i called and informed them before interview. Now i passed the civic test and interview and they want to do a background check again with right DOB...this is a disaster. What should i expect? what happend with your case ? how long did it take ?

dob error is a bad one, i guess. one of the critical criteria for background check.

Anyway, your case will now be delayed for sure but hang on there. i believe the background check is much faster nowadays. you could hear from them very soon.

Hope so dude ! I hope it comes back soon cause this wait is very frustrating especially when you are so close to your Naturalization.

kanna, so have you got your interview letter or not?? If you have not got our interview letter then I think so your background checking is in process but you have told you have given your interview on the 1st march then I think they found some information from your background checking means found minus points regarding your past issues.
