I am very fortunate and have had my naturalization application accepted and my oath ceremony scheduled.
The letter I received states next to the address of the location "limited to 1 guest."
Previously, the attorney that I worked with had said that the ceremony is a wonderful event where you can bring kids, family, etc.
I showed her (my attorney) the letter and she said she is surprised to see the 1 guest limit and she would ask around to see if she can find anything out.
Has anyone had this experience before, and is it something that must be adhered to strictly? I was hoping to bring my wife, plus my two children (at a minimum) but also my in-laws and a couple other friends/family.
