Summary;
Single, never married, no children, no US citizen parents, Green Card Sponsored by a global company, no trips totaling 30 days in a year and all together less than 100 days out of US in last 5 years. paid all personal taxes, paid all business franchise taxes (founded a C Corp), also an LLC that has always been inactive. 3 traffic voliations - paid all the fines together totaling < $500 and all 7+ years back.
Employment History
Oct 2018 –Self Employed? Founded a C-Corp for a software startup, no employees yet
Dec 2017 – Oct 2018: Self-Employed/Unemployed? - Pre-Startup phase, no unemployment or any kind of assistance claimed
2007- Nov, 2017 – A global company that also sponsored the GC in EB1 (PR since 2014).
Question: Should the Period Dec 2017-Oct 2018 omitted and instead just say Dec 2017-Present as Self Employed/Unemployed? If not how should this period be described/broken up?
I never took unemployment, worked on my startup and then incorporated in 10/18. My startup doesn’t yet have any employees and I am self funding it and hire freelancers to build a software prototype.
I have also reached out to an attorney and am considering having him review my application even though my case seems to be pretty straightforward. Waste of money?
Any folks here can chime would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
