  • Will changing address change my process time? Any other potential issues?

    Hi there,

Due to my employment change, I have an opportunity choose whether to stay in my current city (Fort Myers,FL) or to move another city in Florida. I have few cities to choose from. I am wondering if that will change my processing time.

Currently, Fort Myers is processing Dec, 2017 application. If I move to a faster processing city, such as Jacksonville, which is processing July 2018 application, will that speeds up my processing time (my application is in March 2019)?

I am also concern about this requirement: "Have lived within the state, or USCIS district with jurisdiction over the applicant’s place of residence, for at least 3 months prior to the date of filing the application". I am moving after the date of filling and I will still be living in Florida, I don't believe it will cause issue... Please correct if otherwise.

The move has no financial burden to me and it's only temporary (< 2 years stay), so I want to take an opportunity to get my citizenship faster if possible.

Thank you in advance! Any other tips/comments are welcomed.
    (Pending N-400 - 3 Year Filing)
