  • Mistake on N400

Need input on this issue from the community.
Filed my N400 online April 2019, eligible on 5 year residency requirement.
    Biometric done and completed.

In Part 5 (Information about your residence):

By mistake I filled in incorrect dates for two residences.

    What are my options?

The online application projected completion date is April 2020.

What I did was to submit an unsolicited letter onto my file to fix any apparent omissions (caused in my case by apparent bugs in the USCIS PDF generating software).
It only takes a few minutes.
It demonstrates a good-faith attempt to get things right and avoid any possible accusation of misleading or misrepresenting the truth.
After all, that can be a reason for rejection and a life-time ban. I didn't want to have any doubts whatsoever in my mind or the USCIS's mind.
