Good morning,
I hope everyone is doing great. I'm wondering if anyone is in a similar situation as mine and if they have any input on how best to prepare.
Note that my filings are based on marriage.
Filed for GC (I-485) in 2016 and was issued the conditional 2yr type.
When the GC was about to expire, I filed to remove conditions in 2018 (I-751) and the furthest I got with that was the biometrics appointment... it's still pending till date. All they did was send letters to extend the validity of my expired GC. Just in case anyone is in this boat and needs some good news, I was able to travel overseas without any issues.
Notwithstanding, when I became eligible to file for Naturalization (N-400), I applied in Jan of this year and long story short, my interview is scheduled at the end of this month.
Has anyone ever skipped the "removing conditions" step?
Will they need my husband and our daughter to be there even if the interview is just for Naturalization?
What else can I expect may happen apart from the Civics and English test?
I wish everyone a speedy process on all their filings!!!
