I have a question about passport application after naturalization.
Once you naturalize can you apply for
- the passport of your minor (non-US born) child along with yours
- or do you have to wait till one of the parent gets his/her naturalization certificate back (that was sent with his/her passport application) and then apply for child's passport?

US passport for Non US born Minors with GC.

If both parents are citizens, having certificate of citizenship, you can apply for a US passport for your minor child at any passport agency or post office.
You need the following:
1. DS-11 completed for Minor
2. Parents certifiate of Citizenship (original copy)
3. Marriage certificate (preferably attested)
4. Child's foreign birth certificate (preferably attested)
5. Child's original passport for verification (Indian Passport). Attach copy
6. Child's original Green Card (if available) for verification only. Attach copy.
7. Your copy of Drivers license
8. 2 passport size photographs.
9. Fees (check or credit card)

Once you get the passport you can apply for the certificate of citizenship for your minor child by filling in form N-600. I just applied it yesteray and expecting to get the passport next week. I hope this helps.
