Help with dates on green card

I am not sure if I am ok to file for citizenship now. My greencard says 'Resident Since' as 7/1/2005 but the expiration as 8/24/2015. The resident since date is the priority date...but I actually received my green card at aroungd 8/24/2005. I know that I can file 3 months in advance.
Do I have to wait until august or I should be ok to file it now???

if it says issue date(resident since) 7/1/2005 then you are ok to apply now dont worry about the recieving date mine was asylum so i recieved my gc in 2006 but with asylum they back date it for 1 yr so my date was on gc 2005 im a citizen now yaay gudluck
