I have lost or misplaced my natrulization certificate. I wante to file for my parents. i shearched everywhere and was not able to find. I check on web that i have to apply to the new certificate but i dont know the certificate number or my alien number. how could i find the both number and how long it takes to get the certificate and what is the procedure... please let me know and thanks in advance

First of all, if you are a US citizen you donĀ“t need the alien number (only used when you are permanent resident).
If you lose your Certificate of Naturalization, you may request a replacement
by filing an “Application for Replacement Naturalization/Citizenship Document” (Form N-565).
It should be better that you could find your certificare because It may take up to one year for you to receive a new certificate. you may use your passport as evidence of Citizenship while you wait for a replacement certificate.
