marriage certificate.Please help!!

Hi,

I have heard that in some interviews USCIS required to provide marriage, children or birth certificates. Somebody could share some experience like this?

I understand that they want you to show a marriage certificate in order to show your marriage status but why birth certificate...?

Any advice appreciate it.

Birth certificate of children may be asked if you got your green card through marriage.
