Awaiting for interview letter.

I applied for N-400 in Dallas on 12/10/2009. FP done on 1/20/2010. I have not recieved the IL yet. It has been almost 5 months now. I did not hear anything from UCIS after FP. I called UCIS. They are saying it is under process. No additional information. Does any one have this kind of experience?

I applied 1 month ago with name change. I am waiting FL. Do you think it is going to take so much time?.How long??. I am applying in Orange County,CA.

Can you contact customer service and cancel the name change??.

By the way, I have read that you have to pay about $500 if you want change name. I thought that it was free in naturalization.

interview letter

hello, I applied on 02/02/10 in Houston and my fingerprint was 03/18/2010. I am still waiting for my interview letter. People whom applied one month before me got their passport in 3 months but we are still waiting. I do not understand why it is taking so long. I was anxious to get it but I started to get tired of it. Anyways, nothing we could do but wait for it. Good luck to all.

I was processed through the Atlanta office before you and I'm still waiting for my letter also.

I've lived in several states since becoming a PR so assumed that it just takes longer for them to check my lengthy background than for someone who has barely fulfilled the minimal residency requirements (ie many of the people posting here).

How long have you been a resident?
