how i do i sign my naturalization certificate?should i sign how i sign on my photograph on my naturalization certificate? My signature on my photograph is the same like how i sign check, credit cards.My signature on my photograph doesnt show my middle name but it shown my middle initial, i sign it in single word ..Any input will greatly appreciated , thanks..

You must not put your regular signature.

You need to write your entire name in cursive. That is your signature.

In fact, I was specifically told to sign exactly same signature shown on the photograph. It was mentioend clearly in the leaflet they distributed at the entrance prior to the Oath Ceremony.

If the photograph doesn't bear any signatures, then you must sign in cursive as exactly as your name printed in the certificate of naturalization.

Could you please explain in what cases the signature is already there on the photograph? When did you sign that earlier?

If you already signed on the photograph, where are you signing now?

When we went for Interview, Immigration officer asked us to sign on our photographs, This photograph was pasted on naturalization certificate.
During Oath ceremony we were told to sign exactly on naturalization certificate same signature shown on the photograph.

And they also told NOT TO LAMINATE naturalization certificate

I and my wife were told to sign on the passport photographs by the immigration officer during citizenship Interview.

To answer your second question: Both times we signed as we normally sign. (not the complete name in cursive)

Just type as per the SSN name ie legal name. I did this today though my signature is different. BTW did you request for name change?
