Which option to choose on N400 form.

Hello. I've been a permanent resident since September 2013 and got my residency through my wife who is a citizen. I'm now applying for naturalization (Yes, I'm a little late in applying). Which option should I select for eligibility??

1- Live in the United States as a permanent legal resident for five continuous years, or

2- three years if he or she got a green card through a U.S. citizen spouse.

In my case, both are correct. I got GC through my wife who is a US citizen and I've been permanent resident for 5 continuous years. Which option to select??

You can choose either of those, but 1 is recommended from the perspective supporting paper work needed.
