Hi,

I want to apply for citizenship .MY question is I came back from India on May 7th 2010. SO should I wait 3 months before applying for citizenship as i am out of state for the last 3 months or Can i apply immidiately ? What i meant to ask is should I show proof of residence in the sate where I am applying for citizenship for the last 3 months.

I am from MN and I have been living here since 2006 .

You can apply immediately. Just because you went to India for 2-3 months doesn't mean that you are not resident of US/state. Don't take the word residence literally.
