Hi friends,
My wife has changed her last name during Citizenship process. As a result her last name in the Indian passport is different from her US passport. During the oath ceremony we asked for the name change document. The court said that since the name change was requested as part of Citizenship process, they do not give a document.
My question is what additional documents should i send to Indian consulate in NY apart from the passports and birth certificate of my wife.

Court will send you a copy of legal name change document after oath ceremony. It may take a week or so.
