Hello,
My friend...
She is 17 years old and has two children ages 1 and 3 years old. She is undocumented and the father of the youngest child is in prison. She wants to marry him and in the meantime apply for the provisional waiver hoping to receive extreme hardship approval so that she will not be deported. I don't know if her case would apply as extreme hardship? She has no income, obviously cannot receive GR or SNAP benefits and is only receiving Medi-Cal (resides in CA). What are her options at this point? Risk deportation by trying to marry him...ban for three or ten years...or lay low and try to work under the table jobs. Although she has estranged family here and no one to care for her children for her to work. Also estranged from her family in Mexico and doesn't have a lot of family. She would be so lost and alone if moved to Mexico. Very tricky situation. If anyone has any information. Please help! Thank you in advance....
