  • 8 months since N400 interview

Did my N 400 Naturalization interview since June 18/ 2019. Interview went well & upon til this day my online status still saying: INTERVIEW WAS SCHEDULE. Also my address is in Brooklyn but still they sent me to Newark, New Jersey for my interview. They claimed that Brooklyn was backed up so Jersey was/is helping out. Any input comment or advice would be appreciated thnx

How is your N-652 results ? Did you request hearing as mentioned below the form? you are 2 times of 120 days limit for delay.

Hey Ronmony my N 652 stated that a decision cannot be made at this time. He/interviewing officer asked me for my marriage certificate which I forgot to bring with me so he said that he will ask his supervisor if he needs it to proceed with my case & if he does then he will send me something via mail requesting the marriage certificate. He then took my address & everything on a piece of paper & since then: June 19/2019 I've never ever heard anything about my case. I called USCIS like Krazy but to no avail. They kept giving me that same old AUTOMATED message saying: STILL REVIEWING YOUR CASE, WE'LL SEND YOU A NOTICE WHEN WE MAKE A DECISION.

Did your case based on marriage (3 Year) ?If yes I suggest you go to office and give them your marriage certificate ASAP.
There is your IO name on your N652, try to reach out and ask your situation, also you may apply for request hearing as mentioned bottom of the form N652 since you past more than 120 days limit. You can also write the subject to senator and request help.
I am not a lawyer and these are what I got from others experiences, also I saw in some experiences that if FBI clearance check is not feed back to office then you have no choice except waiting for it.

Thanks again for your respond. But no, my case wasn't base on marriage. Had my green card since 2010 that's like 10yrs now and I did consulted Congressman and he sent out a letter a few days ago.

They said they mailed me out a RFE meaning: request for evidence but I've never received any. I called USCIS and the said there's nothing in their system that ever sent to me for evidence. Infact my USCIS ONLINE ACCOUNT doesn't even show any thing of that matter!! I think the IO giving me a hard time

As I saw in too many case here, after they update "we scheduled your interview " they do not change anything until they schedule oath ceremony, (this is my situation now) and in the same day they update attended interview. If you mail or upload the copy of evidence most of them need to be check the original by IO , so to avoid any more delay I suggest you, try to find out RFE letter (it must be your marriage certificate) and reach out to your officer and give him the copy of evidence and show him the original same time. Also maybe you need to repeat fingerprint due to long time passed from last one.
                Good Luck

Thanks you again so much for your input but!! You just can't reach out to the IO like that you have get an Info Pass & USCIS just won't grant it. Their saying ur case doesn't merit one because ur awaiting OATH CEREMONY & Info Pass only granted if you wanted something from ur file to get a job/work purpose or travel related. These ppl are so eccentric.

Your GC will expire in 2020, so maybe you can request info Pass for your GC and hope this could push your N400 process to go faster.

I requested an info Pass last Friday. Now awaiting the supervisor to call me back to schedule it. Friday they told me that an officer/supervisor will call me back within 72hrs to set up an Info Pass. It's now Tuesday and nuttin but I think it's because yesterday was an holiday so it doesn't counts

No, I received a replacement one last year because the first one had lost. And this new one I received won't be up until a long while

Maybe they are waiting for FBI back ground check (FBI clearance). I do not know why in some cases it took long time as I saw in some posts, and unfortunately if the problem be this there is nothing to do except waiting, some people asked help from senator and even first lady but for this situation nothing help to speed up. It is better we follow up and be sure the main reason of delay,
