Trafic ticket in 2004, how can i get proof for payment

Hello,

I have a trafic ticket back in 2004, I have Citizenship interview in June. I dont have any proof that i paid for that trafic ticket. I remember i paid by check and attend trafic school also. I dont remember what is the check number i paid and i called my Bank Of America ,they also told same thing if i know exact check number they may trace but they can not find the image of the check because it too far. Can some one please help me how can i get proof for my trafic ticket. Interview officer will that particular to see the proof of the trafick ticket payment? I only have the yellow slip CHP officer gave me at that time.

Unless it was a major ticket like drunk driving, reckless driving etc, you don't need to worry about it or get any proof of it.

whatever the nature of your ticket might be....its always better to obtain a proof of payment/court disposition before your interview date.

i have seen at least in one case where the IO insisted on seeing a proof of simple traffic ticket being paid. Luckily the applicant had court disposition to show.

what you can do is, contact the county court where you got the ticket and ask for a court disposition, you may have to pay a nominal fee.
