I filed for citizenship just before the pandemic back in April.

i haven’t received my biometrics appointment yet. I also heard ACS centers are still closed until July 27th.

is that true? Anyone else in the same boat? 90 days already and nothing...

They might apply biometrics from a previous case. They did with my I-751.

Hi, I did the same thing as u as well in Florida!!! I applied N 400 naturalization in middle of Feb, and they scheduled me biometrics on the last week of March while all the office closed due to covid like everybody knows. Until today 7/20/2020, I still didn't receive any type of reschedule letter... I am also belonged to those 3 year period naturalization based on marriage based, I applied I 751 as well and they did fingerprint with me end of Nov, 2019.. I think Biometric is MANDATORY for ALL APPLiCANTS for N400. I am not 100 percent sure.......
Here is my timeline:
I 751 Applied Feb 2019
Conditional green card expired : May 2019
Green card 18 months extension received till : Nov 2020
Biometric: Nov 2019

Citizenship applied: Feb 2020
Biometric scheduled: Mar 2020 ( OFFICE CLOSED DUE TO COVID )
Until Now,,,, I receive nothing..... please keep me updated....

Same here. Applied on June 27th. It’s been 1 month and no correspondence re biometrics received. With the forced furlough scheduled to begin by August 3rd (13500 immigration workers to be put on unpaid leave), who knows when things will improve.

I had the misfortune of gaining eligibility literally a few days after shutdown. I applied on March 21st. Since then, it's been absolute zero silence. I got the receipt and the money deducted, and that's it. I am thinking of it as money wasted down the drain at this point. It used to take 1 to 2 weeks for biometrics. It's been 2 months since USCIS reopened and nearly 5 months of waiting for biometrics with not one word. I'm going to possibly cancel the process and demand my money back. This is total bullshit.
