  • Need a help with the N400 - Addresses Section

    Hi,
I am filling the N-400 form and I have a question about the address section.
In 2017 March I moved to a new apartment but i forgot to change the address with USCIS till June the same year.
In the form shall I mention that I started to live in the apartment by March or June ?

Is there a way to get the list of all my addresses?

    Thanks

The month / year you moved should be listed.
I would not be too concerned about filing the AR-11 2 months late.

Your credit report is the best way to get all addresses. By why are you looking for "all" ? You only need the last 3 or 5 yrs (depending on your filing eligibility)

I never changed address with USCIS. I didn't have any problems.

        I have another question.
In the application it ask me to list down all my previous physical address.
During some period, i used to live out of USA for 4 months. At that time I used my cousin address here in USA as the mailing address and updated it in USCIS.
Now for the physical address question. Which one shall I use? The outside USA or the one in USA.

What was the reason you lived outside the US for 4 months ?
During that time did you still have your rental / home in the US ?

I got my Green card by October 2015. I came to US for a short period (2 weeks) then returned back to my home country.
It took me 4 months to move to US which happened by Feb 2016.

From Oct 2015 till Feb 2016 (4 months) i used my cousin address with USCIS.
For this period, which address shall I mention on the form, my physical address (outside US) or my cousin address.

I did not have any rental during this period.

So you never had residence in the US during that time.
You should use the International address and explain this during the interview if asked.
