  • Moving violation tickt right before oath ceremony?

    On August 4 I had an accident with a motorcycle they gave me a ticket for moving violation causing injuries and my oath ceremony is on the 25 not arrested tho .. any experiences please

    Nothing to do or say. You are not told to inform anyone about anything after your interview is done.

      That's incorrect.
      The oath letter (N445) has a questionnaire on it that specifically asks:
      Question 4: "have you ever been citied / arrested / detained by any law enforcement ?
      The applicant must answer "YES" and take the citation with him to the oath ceremony. It's best if you pay the fine and also take the receipt.

          Thank you yea I only have the ticket so I think I’m just Gonna take the ticket .. I haven’t go to court yet got a lawyer to try to dismiss the ticket

            Just be advised that this is not a simple speeding ticket.
            If there were injuries (especially to the other party) and / or the fine was greater than $500, there is a slight chance that your oath may be deferred till after a decision is made. So the wording on the ticket (as written by law enforcement) is crucial.
