How Many Years of Residence and Presence Requires for Spouse Applicant?

My wife and I are looking through the Form N-400 and have a question: As the spouse of a citizen my wife must show residence and presence over the past THREE years, however Form N-400 is asking about FIVE year worth for all applicants. Can we submit Form N-400 with only the THREE years preceding the filing date, and all that the law requires of someone in her position, or must we provide the requested FIVE?

We included all 5 years of residence history so it should be fine to include that, I think.
