International Arrest on N400

Hi

I was arrested for a few hours in UAE due to some disagreement with the company I used to work for, later the charges were withdrawn and i never went to court. I didn't think that it was an actual arrest till now, so i never mentioned this on any of my previous green card forms, Now I am applying for citizenship, I am confused about what to do, if i say yes, they would ask why didn't i reveal this earlier and if i say no then what if they find out, I'm stuck. please help. the arrest was around 12 years ago and just for a few hours maybe 5 hours max.

I don’t think that was an actual arrest if they just let you go. I would try to get some evidence to be emailed / mailed from that police department. If they don’t have any - then don’t worry. You can mention it during interview to be safe. Just explain your situation like you did here
