Postpone Citizenship Interview

How many days in advance do we need to let them know that I need to postpone the interview.

My interview is on Friday the 16th and I need to postpone the interview . I live in New Jersey .

I mailed the letter and request to reschedule to the address given on the interview letter . Thanks anyway.
