Location: Fairfax VA (I live in Northern Virginia)
2020.10.29 - PASSED naturalization interview and got approved same day(confirmed by the officer who interviewed me)
<== https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do
shows "Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled // We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a
notice for Receipt Number IOE YYYY YYYY , with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. You should
receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date."
<== https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant
<== specifically "Case history" section
shows 2 entries
1, October 29, 2020 / You attended your interview
You do not need to do anything at this time
We will let you know if we need anything else from you as we continue to review your application.
2, October 29, 2020 / We approved your application
Your final step to becoming a citizen is to attend your naturalization ceremony
We will mail you a letter when we schedule your naturalization ceremony.
Now my questions are:
1, Should I be concerned about entry#1 above? If they approved my application as in entry#2, what's to review?
2, Based on your experience, esp. at this local area (DC metro), how long after the successful interview will I expect
an oath ceremony with specific date? (Not "we are placing you in the line" but "Ceremony notice was mailed")
Thanks a lot!
