Newborn during N400 processing

my n400 is currently in processing and we had newborn last month. So i'm trying to figure out if i should update somehow my n400 to add new dependant (child) or it's better to leave it as is and wait for the interview?

There's no such thing as "dependent" on N-400. There is general biographical information asking about your current and prior spouses, and children. If some of that biographical information changes after you file, you can just update them at the interview.

totally agree,just dont forget to bring the original and photocopy of the birth certificate.
