Citizenship question

Hi,

I have a question regarding the US citizenship. I am on a L1 visa and my wife was pregnant while in USA. Due to circumstances, she went back to india and gave birth in india. Recently i came to know that we can still apply for US citizenship for my baby as mother got all the medical assistance here.

Please advise if it is possible and how to proceed is greatly appreciated.
