New requirement - 14 days in the US before the oath ceremony

I just received my oath ceremony appointment and it says that if you were outside the US for 14 days prior to the appointment (or in contact with a someone with COVID), to call USCIS...I am assuming to re-schedule. I am in Canada where the COVID rates are far lower and was planning to drive back for my oath, but really want to avoid having to come two weeks earlier. Does anyone know if/how they are enforcing this rule? Thank you!
