Could anyone share a recent experience with rescheduling N400 interview. I am traveling for work and cannot change the plans as my foreign colleagues paid for the trip. I have porvided an official letter from my foreign colleagues stating so. When do they actually re-schedule the interview? I was notified of my interview date on July 13th and I wrote a letter requesting to reschedul on July 14th (the original interview was scheduled for Aug. 18th). Will they re-schedule the interview right away or after the original interview date?

That should be more than sufficient to request a re-schedule, however they may not re schedule you for the data that you have requested. Most likely they will re schedule to the first available next date.
Sometimes if you indicate that you will be back on a specfic data then they may schedule for a date beyond what you have requested. -
