We received a letter from USCIS stating that they are currently processing our case. It further says that " This notice is to inform you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints & other biometrics. USCIS will run the same security checks and use your biometric data in the past, however it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Centre for Biometrics appointment. The biometrics fee will not be refunded. What does this imply, and what are the next steps that i should be aware of. Thanks in advance. We applied for naturalization in 3rd week of September.

This is a bio reuse letter.It also means your case is active. You will get interview next. Some ,like myself get the interview letter almost immediately after. For others, it can take several weeks to months. it all depends on your FO.
There's no need to do anything at this point. If you like, you can start studying for the exam. -
My FO is Oakland Park, FL, and I received the same bio reuse letter and interview notice on the same day. Check your online account documents to see if your interview has been scheduled.Comment
