  • Signature to be used for Naturalization Certificate

Need clarity on the Signature to be used for Naturalization Certificate. I saw in some forums it mentions to use our Complete Name as Signature instead of our Actual Signature. & some other forums mentions to use our actual signature.

My oath is dallas Uscis in 12 hrs. from now. So appreciate any suggestions.

ShibuM Signature on naturalization certificate is not a necessary requirement during Oath. You can ask this question during your Oath. I had just signed my usual signature. You don't have to sign the certificate during the oath.

ShibuM you must be a US citizen by now. Congratulations.

I know its late, but as for the signature, it says "Complete & True Signature" - which means your usual signature that you use for any legal or financial documents.

Thank you All !! Yes, Signing in the Naturalization certification was not a requirement during the Oath Taking. So I brought it back home and put my Usual signature on it.
