Hi - any advice is appreciated.
App was mailed in April, received FingerPrinting notice 5/27. FP done on 6/15. Next letter received was dated 7/6. "This is not an interview notice"... It is a letter requesting me to bring additional documents to my naturalization interview.
As of today, no interview notice. I checked the status online and it is RFE.
"On May 27, 2010, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case N400 APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the requested information. This case will be in suspense until we receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once we receive the requested evidence or information and make a decision on the case, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your case with your new address or call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283."
This was last updated 5/29. Should I be worried that I haven't received anything? Are they delayed in updating their website?
The letter I received said to bring the documents to the interview - nothing said about mailing the requested documents to them.
Should I wait longer before contacting them? Can I call them for an update? Or trust the website?
Thanks again for any response.
