  • Driving Record for Interview

I have interview soon and wanted to know do we need to disclose all the tickets you got, or just five years? My DMV is only giving 5 years worth driving record (just one, four year old) and I don't have any previous violations with me. They are only infractions with no alcohol or drugs involved. Not sure if I have paid more than 500 in fines. Do the immigration officer have all the records with them? Worried if we just tell about past five years and they say you have more? Any advice?

You should list all of them. You don’t have to have proof or anything, but all of them have to be listed. To be safe, I went to counties where my tickets were given and printed criminal records, which contain all the tickets. Many officers request that. And they should be certified. My officer didn’t ask for any proof that I paid my tickets off. However, my lawyer said that some officers requested payment proof from her clients before.

    I hope this helps!
