    Unemployed-Citizenship Interview

    Hi All,

    I have been unemployed for last three years. I have my Citizenship interview coming up next month.
    Is unemployment a barrier for getting Citizenship?

    I do not have any other criminal records or tax issues.

    Unemployment is not an issue. It’s is not a requirement for citizenship to be employed. However, they might ask how you have been supporting yourself.
