  • Oath ceremony after interview

Hi....I passed my citizenship interview on 8/31/10 and was recommended for approval. The officer asked if I would like to participate in a special oath ceremony in Boston on 9/29. I agreed. She found out from her supervisor whether this was still available and then said I would be part of it. She said that I would receive a letter in the mail giving the details. However, 9/29 is less than 2 weeks away and I havent heard anything!! Any one else out there with a similar experience? Any suggestions on what I should do?

    be patient

I got the same experience and in my case the oath ceremony was 1 week after the interview date. I got the letter in 3 days - and a phone call to volunteer to be part of media coverage.

You can call immigration services if you are too much concerned

      Similar situation

Hi - I'm in a similar situation - I passed my interview on Oct 8th and the officer said I would be definitely scheduled for an Oct 29th ceremony, and I would get a letter confirming this. But it's 10/20 today and I haven't receivd anything.
Any suggestions on how to proceed?
