Marriage to US Citizen-Finacee Visa or Student Visa or Immigrant Visa for Spouse

Hi,

I will be a US citizen in couple of months and soon going to marry. I know the wait period after applying for spouse visa based on marriage to US Citizen only varies from 5-8 months but I want to bring my spouse right after the marriage along with me. What is the best method ? Student Visa ? Fiancee Visa ? Will it cause any problems in adjusting her status here later ? Please advise. I will really appreciate any help/advise on this matter.

File I-130 and I-129F (for SPOUSE--- K-3) visa

You can file the I-130 for an IMMIGRANT VISA for your wife. Then after they send the receipt notice you can file for a K-3 sposuse NONIMMIGRANT VISA. She can come here as nonimmigrant and wait you can then file an I-485 ADJUSTMENT Application and get her IMMIGRANT status in the U.S. (There is no fee for petitions for K-3 status based on an immigrant petition filed by the same U.S. citizen.)
