  • N400 question

    Hey all,

getting my n400 materials together, and not sure about this question
Part 12, 16: were you ever a worker, volunteer etc : "other place where people were forced to stay"

working in k-12 education, with truancy laws and such, students are sort of forced to stay. I know the rest of the parts ask about prison type things, but would k-12 count for this last part?

It does not apply. Students are required by law to get K-12 education but are NOT forced to stay in school. In fact some parents choose to have at home education for their kids.
