    Update: August 13th 2022:

I checked my account on the USCIS website on Friday night 12th August 2022 and saw the following message:

"We placed you in line for your oath ceremony and will send you a notice for Receipt Number (blank), with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony. You should receive your notice within 30 days of its mailing date". Naturally, I am checking my USCIS account obsessively and multiple times a day ????‍♀️☺????for the date for the ceremony or at least to see that the letter has been mailed!

I am pleasantly surprised to see this as the N652 form that I was given after the interview stated that I had "successfully passed the test" AND "a decision could not be made at this time"! Even though the officer did say I will get the notice for the oath ceremony in 3 to 6 weeks.....I did stress like most of us do because of the "a decision could not be made at this time". I have think that a lot of folks who get this box checked on their N652 form... it could simply be a process thing for the USCIS or maybe the interviewing officer is new and all the cases this officer processes must be checked over by his/her supervisor? maybe?

FYI, The day I got the letter in the mail about my interview appointment, I got an application for a NEW US PASSPORT and also reserved / made an appointment with my local USPS for the passport process for after my interview. I was also prepared with passport photographs. I took my cheque book, some cash , blue pen and black pen , my passport application and photos with me on the date of interview. I wanted to be prepared in case there was a oath ceremony right after the interview. Sometimes the passport office will be present there to get the process rolling for your new US passport after the oath ceremony and the naturalization letter is signed. Please keep in mind this does not happen at all USCIS filed offices.

I did find some info for the North Texas District Courts ( someone else had suggested the same on this forum so thanks to him/her ): there are 2 dates for the oath ceremony at the district courts N.Texas , August 29th 2022 and August 30th 2022. Please check your local district courts too. Go to your district court website and type in " naturalization ceremony schedules " and you will see that info pop up. BUT, know that oath ceremonies are ALSO conducted at the local USCIS FIELD OFFICES as well, for which there is no schedule posted anywhere ( at least none that I could find ) AND we will NOT know which location ( district court or field office ) we will be asked to show up for the oath ceremony.

It is easy to say " don't stress trust in the process " but as we all know ....that is not going to stop us from stressing right:????????????

I will post updates when I have any further info.

Good luck to everybody and "don't stress " ????.

      Hello Everybody ,

Just to update....I received another email at 6.35 am CST from USCIS saying "we have taken an action on your case, sign in to your account to view your case status". On my account I see the following statement/update:

      Oath Ceremony Notice Was Mailed

"We scheduled your oath ceremony for Receipt Number ( blank ). We sent a notice with the date, time, and location of your oath ceremony to the address you gave us. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by September 12, 2022, contact the USCIS website to request a copy of the notice".

I hope the timelines of my case updates that I post here will help some of y'all who might be going through the naturalization process. I am sure everyone's case is unique and the timelines for the case process may vary. The important thing is to keep all your documents in order get photocopies of them and also ensure you get photocopies of the front and back of your SS card, DL, Green Card, your passport ( first and last page ) issued by your country of origin, birth certificate, marriage certificate, death certificate ( where applicable ). I know a lot of us may forget something during this process as it may be stressful but, make these copies and keep them updated as well.

Hope this helps. Good luck Everybody.

      Thank you.
