I am currently filling VFS application for adult Renunciation (surrender Indian Passport).
One of the section asks about "Do you have Minor Children, who are / were Citizens of India? and Name of Child 1 - As on Current US / Foreign Passport". I have a few questions:
What should we enter In child's info section, Passport number, Date of Issue, Country, Address 1, city, state?
My child does not have US or Foriegn passport. If I enter the details of my India address and for the only passport I have , the summarized form on the last step shows the following:
Minor Child1, XXX, born in <My India Address> on <date> having a US/Foriegn passport <the Indian Passport number> issued on <Date>
The above suggests that address and other details should be of India, otherwise the the line will show born in "Us Address" which will be incorrect BUT here regardless of it, the passport says Foreign/US passport - why!!
Any guidance is appreciated.
