I submitted my application and it was received on Nov 8 check has been cashed on Nov 10. But I have not received any receipt. I am wondering . if this is normal. Usually receipt (NOA) comes in week. Why is it taking too long.

my n-400 application was also received on Nov 8 and check encashed on
Nov 10, i was also worried about receipt too but i just checked my mail and received it today Nov 19, so i think u should receive today or tommorrow too,
i check my online status, its says we mailed a notice on Nov 16th requesting additional evidence or information on this case, is it finger print or something else ???? now i am waiting for this letter, probably should receive in a week.

Time between fingerprinting and Interview

On an average ,how much is the time between the Fingerprinting and Interview .
Just planning ahead of time to make travel plan within US.

Inputs would be appreciated.

The online status does not change until you will get the yellow pre-interview letter or in some cases directly the interview letter. What you are seeing is normal. I had my FP three weeks ago and no online status change as well. Regarding the wait time for the interview letter it really depends on your case and also on the district office. I have been following the Raleigh district office on the online trackers and it looks like it takes about 1.5 to 2 months until you receive the interview letter once FP is done. But as I said, it really depends on your case and district office.

I have got the yellow slip or letter. it does not say the date of interview but asked me to bring my Driving license. only. Is it a good sign.

It should be baltimore, I guess. I am in MD. No change in online status.
