When to expect a response?

Hi there,

I am wondering about a situation. If any one knows please answer.

If you have an interview and due to bad weather Federal govt is closed. What happens to it . Does it have to be reschedule for next appointment which is mailed by the USCIS for later time.


I have my interview next weeks and it seems that weather is going to be bad on that day. I wish it doesnot turn out to be close due to bad weather.

its happen with my friend a week ago, his interview was cancel due to heavy snow, they call him early in the morning on his cell phone that we will reschedule your interview, the call is from his field office where he suppose to have interviewed, so he is waiting for his interview letter again, i hope they dont cancel your interview. good luck

I am done with my interview and passed it but my case is not approved as I have not completed 5 year (LPR) which is just a week less. IO said everything is good except 5 year LPR. This has not allowed me to move on to next step. I am not sure how much time this will add up. Is there someone out has similar experience. When can I except my oath letter.

Howe much is OK to carry ?

I feel overwhelmed when I see the amount of paperwork I have to carry with me?

Please give me ideas whats advisable
I have paperwork ,all listed /recommended stuff .I know required stuff is just passport /green card etc.

I have 5 files (hard bound) ,is that what most people carried around or should I cut my load down?

Whats most advisable to carry them around in?
(I was carrying on putting them on in a wheeler bag and taking them in?)

Please advise so that I can feel confident about my preparation.
