timeline from applying to biometrics in california

Hi, where can I find the latest timeline from applying to oath ceremony for n400 based on 5 year green card. I am looking for the approximate timelime from sending the application to the date of biometrics more importantly. Also is it ok to fly out after biometrics and be out of country till the interview date?

Can not give you a timeline as every case is different. It is totally fine to leave the country for short trips during the process. When you get to the interview you will need to update the officer with your new travel dates.

HOWEVER!!!!! you will need to be careful with how many days you are out of the country for. If it jeopardizes your physical or continuous presence requirements that are required to be met for N-400, then it could cause your application to be denied.
