Locked out of USCIS account

Hi,

I am trying to apply for citizenship and had opened an online account late last year. I don't remember if I verified myself there. I had forgotten the password and filed a form to get the password reset. USCIS sent me a link to reset the password but it has expired by the time I got to doing it. It has taken 4-5 days to get that link. Later, the account got locked out. My request for unlocking or resetting the password did not get any response after more than a week.

I am thinking of opening another account with another email id and submitting the application. I had not filed any form using that account but I do not recall if I had verified it. Will there be any issue if I use another account to apply.

Update: managed to talk to a service rep, and started application by creating another account. Per the rep, I cannot merge the two accounts but there should not be any issues if I submit the application from another account.
