  • Sponsor gc for my future wife, now as gc holder or later as citizen?

I am a permanent resident. I am getting married next month. My wife is an indian citizen living in india. i am planning to sponsor her green card once we are married. At the same time, my own citizenship decision will be coming from USCIS in 7 months time. 1. Should I wait until I become a citizen to sponsor her GC? OR
    2. Should I sponsor her GC as a GC holder and then update the forms to show I have become a citizen OR
    3. Does it not matter they will automatically know and process her as my being a citizen once I become one?

      2. Even if USCIS will know when your status change to a USC, you should still notify them, I reckon.
